FAQ

My wife is currently working in Nigeria. I plan to find a job for her once she gets here so that she can continue to practice her profession. Is this possible?

No and Yes. The Saudi policy prohibits DEPENDANTS of expatriates from taking any job while still holding a DEPENDANT visa. The entire family of the violators may be deported. However, it is possible for her to take a job IF AND ONLY IF the employer is ready to secure an independent visa for her. In that case, she will need to go back to Nigeria to get her own work visa.

If my child is born in Saudi Arabia, does he/she automatically become a Saudi citizen?

No. It is presently not in the policy of Saudi Arabia to grant citizenship simply because he/she was born here.
